Dyslexia Diagnostic Assessment
A full diagnostic assessment to investigate a possible diagnosis of dyslexia. The assessment draws on background information, as well as quantitative and qualitative data, to build a profile of strengths and challenges. The comprehensive report includes personalised recommendations to support students and families.

Exam Access Arrangement Assessment
A tailored assessment available to students in Year 9 or higher to explore eligibility for consideration for exam access arrangements in formal examinations. I must have prior contact with your child's school SENCO, and receive a Form 8, part 1 completed, prior to conducting the assessment.
About me
Hi, I'm Cara! I am a fully qualified dyslexia diagnostic assessor with a current APC, based in Surrey.
Inspired by my family’s journey with dyslexia, I care passionately about supporting young people to understand their needs and identify the right support and interventions that can make a real difference.
I've been working in education since 2014, and I now work as a freelance dyslexia assessor and part-time as an Assistant SENCO at a girls' senior school.
I've completed my L5 & L7 training with the British Dyslexia Association and Real Training, and I am a member of the Dyslexia Guild and the British Dyslexia Association. I'm fully insured, hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, and am registered with the ICO as a data controller. Furthermore, I am registered as an Educational Test User with the British Psychological Society.
My qualifications are:
BSc, PGCert SEND & Inclusion, APC, APS, CPT3A, MDG, BDA.
